Investors In People

CLI are proud to announce we have achieved the IIP (Investors In People) standard for people management. The IIP standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results. Successful accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to sustainability.

Our report said “the CLI model is based on real experience of ex-offenders. It is looking through this lens that enables CLI to grab the trust of clients. It is this perspective that gives the whole process at CLI credibility and it is a credit to the directors that the training and support they are able to pass on to non-offenders who act as volunteers”

Directors, staff and volunteers created a positive impression of working for CLI during the accreditation process and used such words as “professional, fair, rigorous, supportive, informal, open, relaxed, friendly, patient and a family” to describe the experience.
